The Bass Anglers Sportsman Society is accepting nominations for the Bassmaster High School All-American Fishing Team. B.A.S.S. said nominations must be made by a parent, coach, teacher or school official, and students must be currently in grade 10, 11 or 12, with a 2.5 or higher grade point average. “We are so proud to offer a platform that not only recognizes successful student athletes on their accomplishments on the water, but on their academic success and community involvement as well,” program senior manager Hank Weldon said in a statement. The deadline to nominate a student is Feb. 22.
