Some years ago, Terry Sheridan moved to Belgrade, Serbia. I always thought he would miss the Cleveland night life and bar scene, but although he sometimes returned for a visit, he made a life for himself there. I’d communicate by email fairly regularly and he would write about vegetables and flowers he had cultivated. He found peace, deservedly so, writes guest columnist Roldo Bartimole about the retired Cleveland reporter and private investigator who died in Belgrade on April 1 at age 88 and who had once described himself as living in Serbia, but fishing in Montenegro.
