Kyiv has set aside $47 billion, 22 percent of the country’s GDP, for defense in Ukraine’s second wartime budget following Russia’s full-scale invasion.
Priority funding in the state budget for next year is for defense, which in total will take about half of all expenditures. The Defense Ministry will receive Hr.1.155 trillion ($32 billion).
