The directorate reports that pre-IPO investments in domestic cybersecurity firms totaled $2.9 billion in 2020, up 70% from the previous year. Plus, there were more than 20 acquisitions of Israeli cybersecurity companies last year with a total value of $4.7 billion. Meanwhile, Israeli exports of cybersecurity products and services hit $6.85 billion in 2020, up from $6.5 billion in 2019, according to the directorate.
