A fire broke out at a Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar this afternoon. Seven firefighting units are trying to douse the blaze that originated around 2:45pm, said Emdadul Haque, duty officer at the Fire Service's Control Room in Chattogram.
The UNHCR in Bangladesh said in a tweet that Rohingya refugee volunteers were responding to the fire with the agency and its partners providing support. aaa
The cause of the blaze has not been established yet. No casualty has been reported so far. The fire broke out around 4:55 pm, said Additional Superintendent of Police, Kamran Hossen, of Armed Police Battalion-8.
