A Coast police officer will face a disciplinary hearing over allegations she allowed an interstate officer to skip out on undergoing a breathalyser test.

Retired Victorian police sergeant Kevin Perry was pulled over outside the Alexandra Headlands Surf Life Saving Club in 2016 after making an illegal U-turn. A Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal hearing held late last year heard two young officers pulled Mr Perry over but radioed for help from another crew when he tried to convince them to let him walk home.
