On Saturday, it was the turn of Croatia to select their representative for Eurovision 2021 with their national selection show Dora 2021. Held in the resort town of Opatija, fourteen acts took to the stage, offering everything from tradition to dance to rap. Ultimately only one could prevail though – and that was Albina with “Tick-Tock”. Written by Branimir Mihaljević, Max Cinnamon and Tihana Bukljaš Bakić, “Tick-Tock” presents upbeat rhythms and a racy pop feel. Best of all, it’s not just radio-ready it’s also nearly ready for the Eurovision stage. It came with plenty of choreo including a group lift that saw Albina singing on her back.
