Let’s get one thing out of the way – I am not a born and bred member of the cult of Wawa.
I can remember being in college and hearing my classmates from Pennsylvania and New Jersey talk about how great those famous Wawa hot hoagies were, how majestic it felt to be inside a Wawa store and how nothing we had in Boston could hold a candle to the glory of what they saw as the peak of all convenience stores. The way they described Wawa back then, you d think they were on par with the second coming of the Lord himself.
