In celebration of all things folk music, the Central Ohio Folk Festival will take place virtually from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. May 22.
Joining other festivals and event organizations around central Ohio, the 24th annual festival, led by the Columbus Folk Music Society, will be moved online for viewers to enjoy the various performances and workshops from the comfort of their homes.
On the virtual-broadcast mainstage, seven bands representing a wide range of genres which include folk, bluegrass, old-time, Americana, jazz, French classic and swing will perform.
The festival will be headlined by American folk duo Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams. Viewers can also expect performances from the Shazzbots, singer-songwriter Rj Cowdery, bluegrass band the Relentless Mules and others.
