A PARISH council has turned a village “eyesore” into its new council offices. Tiptree Parish Council has moved from its home in Mynott Court, in Church Road, to the former public toilets in Church Road. Monday’s official opening, which took place yesterday (April 12) revealed the work that took place during the refurbishment of the old site, previously run by Colchester Council. The parish took the building over in 2017. The new office replaces an eyesore which was gradually being vandalised, creating a poor impression at the centre of the village and will provide a public WC again. The offices were opened by parish council chairman Roger Mannion, with members of staff and councillors present.
