Salvation Army Church, Lower Earley THE SALVATION Army has opened its church in Lower Earley to doctors seeking to use the site as a Covid-19 vaccine hub in the area. Vaccinations at the site began last week, January 6, after Salvation Army ministers based at the church on Chalfont Close, Lower Earley, temporarily offered the building to the local GP Practice. Leader of The Salvation Army in Lower Earley, Reading, Roger Coates said: “When we heard the Government announcement about the rollout of the vaccination through GP surgeries, we were moved to ask our neighbouring practice if they needed assistance. “Chalfont surgery had been praying for a suitable space for running the operation safely and we were more than happy to help.
