A Carlsbad industrial building has been sold for nearly 26.8 million.
Link Logistics based in New York sold the property at 2285 Rutherford Road to an undisclosed buyer.
Built in 1990 on a 6.6-acre lot as part of the Carlsbad Research Center, the two-story, 128,745 square-foot building has four dock-high loading doors, four grade-level doors, and 342 parking spaces.
Roger Carlson, Bill Dolan, and Blake Wilson of CBRE represented the seller.
The buyer was represented by Cushman & Wakefield.
“Carlsbad continues to emerge as a life science/biotech hub,” Carlson said. “Due to limited availability in the central San Diego market, companies are looking north to Carlsbad.”

The company is leasing a 32,019 square-foot building at 3977 Ocean Ranch Blvd. from Innovative Development Enterprises, Inc.

Innovative Development Enterprises was represented by Roger Carlson and Blake Wilson of CBRE.
The building includes upgraded office space, five grade level doors, two dock-high doors, ESFR sprinkler systems, heavy power, and clear height of 24 feet.
