The shooting of Keith Lamont Scott in charlotte yesterday sparked a night of violence. Police say it all started when officers went to arrest another man and encouldered encountered scott instead. What happened next is dispute, but the African American Plainclothes Police officer who shot scott is on paid administrative leave while an investigation is under way. David begnaud is in charlotte.
