Primus escapes amidst related trial The ongoing trial of Louis Cupid, charged in connection with Veron Primus’ first escape, has revealed some still unanswered questions about which persons are now speculating. By: Haydn Huggins• Murder accused Veron Primus’, who made good an escape, albeit temporary, from Her Majesty’s Prisons, Kingstown, 14 months ago, made a second bid for freedom, this time, along with another inmate, Ulric Hanson, of Mayreau, who is also awaiting trial for murder. The two were found missing from their cells on the morning of December 9. The escape came amidst the trial involving Prison Officer Louis Cupid Primus, who is charged in connection with Primus’ first escape.
