Springfield Schools placing emergency levy on ballot LAKEMORE During a special Jan. 24 meeting, the Springfield Local Schools Board of Education approved the second motion needed to place a $1,738,000 emergency levy on the May 2 Special/Primary Election ballot. District officials have stated the five-year levy equates to 3.9 mills, the same levy voters
