Green light for new homes in rural Herefordshire COUNTY planners have approved a scheme to build two homes near Marden. Mr Vickress’ proposals to build the homes with garages at White Gates Farm in Litmarsh had the support of nine local people but Marden parish council objected to the scheme. Speaking at yesterday’s (December 16) Herefordshire Council planning and regulatory committee meeting, parish councillor Roderick Lees said the village have seen 110 homes built which surpasses their target for housing. He said the proposals went against their neighbourhood plan as it was in open countryside and would be outside the settlement boundary.
