JONESBORO â Several food establishments in Northeast Arkansas were cited for violations that could compromise the health of patrons during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
A cashier at Bonita Road Assembly of Godâs food truck was not wearing a face covering during a Nov. 13 inspection at Turtle Creek Mall. According to the Arkansas Department of Health inspection report, the employee was unaware of Gov. Asa Hutchinsonâs mandate to wear masks, which cover the nose and mouth.
COVID-19 can be spread through respiratory droplets expelled from the nose and mouth, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. An ADH report shows 3% of those diagnosed within the last two weeks visited a restaurant.
