SCHENECTADY – A city man has been arrested and charged, accused in Tuesday morning’s fatal hit and run, records show.
The victim was struck and dragged, authorities said. She was also struck by a second vehicle, police said.
The victim was identified as Carolyn Lord, 61, of Schenectady.
The man charged was identified by police as Roddy T. Delagrandeanse, 23, of Broadway, Schenectady, a man whose license to drive had been suspended, authorities said.
Delagrandeanse faces one count of leaving the scene of an incident without reporting resulting in death, a felony. He was charged Wednesday.

Police said Roddy T. Delagrandeanse, 23, of Broadway, whose driver’s license had been suspended, was charged with one count of leaving the scene of an incident without reporting resulting in death, a felony. He was charged Wednesday.
He is accused of driving a gray 2003 Chevrolet Malibu in the area of 388 Broadway, near the intersection with Millard Street, at around 1:41 a.m. and striking Lord as she crossed the street, resulting in her death, authorities said.
