Coyote spotted roaming south side neighborhood

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas A coyote was caught on video roaming around a south side neighborhood late Monday night.
The video was taken in the area of Rodd Field Rd. near Yorktown Blvd.
Animal Care Services for the City of Corpus Christi said the risk of wildlife attacking people is low. Coyotes have been known to attack small pets, however.
Often, according to ACS, coyotes living in the Coastal Bend area are actually building dens in the sand dunes, coming out throughout the day to seek food.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â A long-standing road construction project in Corpus Christi is now complete.
Drivers who missed using Rodd Field Road will be able to take a cruise starting tomorrow. The city announced today that the $17.35 million project, which began in November 2018, has been finished.
The expansion means Rodd Field Road has gone from two lanes to four, with a 30-foot center median. You should also notice utility improvements, sidewalks, cycle tracks and new traffic signals at the Yorktown Boulevard and Brooke Road intersections.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â Corpus Christi drivers rejoice! The Rodd Field construction project is complete, and those who have missed cruising down Rodd Field Rd. will be able to resuming starting Wednesday.
The traffic signals located at the intersections of Yorktown, Airline and Brooke will be in flash operation to give drivers time to adjust to traffic signals.
The traffic signals will be fully activated on Wednesday when the entire roadway reopens to traffic.
