Birmingham police Tuesday identified the victim as Travio Ollison. He was 19 and lived in Birmingham.
Police and Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service were dispatched at 9:30 a.m. to the 1900 block of Druid Hills Drive on a report of a person down. Once on the scene, they Ollison unresponsive in the middle of a roadway in front of an apartment complex.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Ollison was taken to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:16 a.m.

Birmingham police said a group of men had an altercation which led to the deadly shootout.
Witnesses said there were around 1,000 people in the park at the time of the gunfight.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) One woman died and five other people, including a 4-year-old, were shot at a Birmingham park Sunday evening as people gathered on Easter, police said.
The woman, 32, was pronounced dead inside a car at Patton Park, police Sgt. Rod Mauldin told reporters. The five other people who were shot ages 21, 17, 16, 15 and 4 went to hospitals and were stable. The names of the people shot were not immediately released.
The shooting stemmed from an altercation in the park where hundreds of people had gathered to celebrate Easter. Mauldin said the 32-year-old woman who was killed was an innocent bystander.
