UPDATE (12/11) Tennesse Department of Health has confirmed clusters at 535 long-term care facilities in the state.
According to TDH, there have been 12,155 residents with COVID-19, and 1,556 (or 12.8%) of them have died.
There have been 10,031 staff members diagnosed with COVID-19.
TDH has reported 45 deaths in East Tennessee nursing homes since December 4.

Deaths, virus cases at area nursing homes
NHC Healthcare released various statistics on its website about COVID-19 at its Oak Ridge facility.
It reported 10 in-house active COVID-19 patients on its website Monday. The number of patients admitted positive were 26. The number of recovered patients was 60. The number of patients transferred to the hospital was zero. No patients were under investigation for the coronavirus The total number of employees who tested positive was 87. The number of employees who recovered was 83. Total deaths of people diagnosed with COVID-19 is 11.
The state of Tennessee also reported statistics for other assisted living facilities that had cases within the last 28 days. Canterfield of Oak Ridge on Bus Terminal Road had two resident COVID-19 cases and five staff COVID-19 cases, but no resident deaths. The last positive case was Dec. 23.
