ROCK ISLAND, Ill. A 19-year-old was hospitalized after a shooting left him with life-threatening injuries.
According to a statement from the Rock Island Police Department, the 19-year-old man was shot around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, January 21 in the Douglas Park Neighborhood near 16th Avenue and 7th Street.
The injured man was taken to a nearby hospital before being transferred to Peoria for treatment. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
