Rock Creek Parkway in Superior is slated to get a $3.72 million makeover this summer, with the dual goal of making pedestrians and bicycle riders feel more comfortable on the four-lane, double-divided road and making drivers feel like slowing down.
After an extensive Superior Board of Trustees meeting Monday, the board voted to maintain Rock Creek Parkway as a four-lane road while prioritizing speed mitigation and pedestrian and bike safety.

About a month after work on the study kicked off, Superior residents will have an opportunity to provide Town engineers with feedback on a project that will evaluate the configuration and roadway geometry of Rock Creek Parkway to determine if changes would improve safety and comfort for users of the corridor.
