Officials said a trooper was attempting to pull the vehicle over for speeding on northbound I-405 near West Valley Highway. However, the driver did not stop, and shots were fired from the car. The trooper was not struck. The trooper lost the car when it took the state Route 169 exit in Renton, but officials later reported that Kent police had found the car involved in the shooting at the Rock Creek Landing Apartments. However, no suspects were found.
