And in 1980,
R.E.M. played their first gig as R.E.M. It took place at Athens, Georgia’s 11:11 Koffee Club in front of 150 people and the show ended when police shut it down since the venue was unlicensed.

By now, you’ve heard about the growing ketchup shortage that’s sucking the condiment-loving soul from our nation. It’s gotten enough attention that a “black market” has developed for ketchup packets…which are at a premium. A quick search on eBay shows over 150 listings for them, some asking for over $100 for just one packet.
On Scranton’s Facebook Marketplace, another guy’s asking for $1,200 for just three packets.
Just because you ask doesn’t mean you’ll get, but you’ve got to admire the cojones it takes to ask that much for something so stupid.

What s more shocking than the leaked footage that shows UFOs hovering over a U.S. warship in 2019? The fact that the Pentagon has confirmed the video is real.
The 18-second clip shows three pyramid-shaped objects hovering about 700 feet above the U.S.S. Russell off the San Diego coast. The sighting was one of three similar incidents that occurred over a four-month span. I can confirm that the referenced photos and videos were taken by Navy personnel, says Department of Defense spokesperson Susan Gough. The Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force has included these incidents in their ongoing examinations.
