Rochester principal planner Ryan Yetzer has been named as interim deputy director of development and construction services for the city’s Community Development Department.
Yetzer, who moved from the joint Rochester-Olmsted County planning department to Community Development when the agencies split, played a key role in completing zoning code updates related to Rochester’s Comprehensive Plan, Planning to Succeed 2040.
Most recently, he played a key role in the development of the Downtown Waterfront SE Small Area Plan, and has been leading the process to rewrite the city’s zoning ordinance.
