ROCHESTER,Minn. The Rochester Area Foundation is now the new fiscal sponsor for 11 area nonprofits after the Rochester Diversity Council dissolved a few weeks ago.
Weeks after Rochester’s Diversity Council dissolved, the 11 local nonprofits that it worked with have found a new fiscal sponsor: Rochester Area Foundation.
As part of the transition at Rochester’s Diversity Council, the organization recently announced that it will no longer fiscally sponsor 11 local groups that have been under its umbrella.
The board of directors of Rochester’s Diversity Council announced that it was decided “to wind down Diversity Council operations and develop a dissolution plan.” All programming will end by March 8.
