PITTSBURGH – A judge has partially granted preliminary objections in a case brought by a school employee alleging she was stabbed in the back by a nurse/school bus aide during an altercation and that a medical staffing company should have known the nurse was mentally ill and prevented such an incident.
PITTSBURGH – Counsel for a school employee stabbed in the back by a nurse/school bus aide during an altercation more than two years have replied to preliminary objections from the assailant’s employer, maintaining that the company should have known the nurse was mentally ill and worked to prevent such an incident.
PITTSBURGH – After an altercation two years ago when a nurse/school bus aide stabbed a school employee in the back, the injured employee has filed a lawsuit against the nurse and her employer in an Allegheny County court, alleging that the company should have known the nurse was mentally ill and worked to prevent incidents like the one which transpired.
