Advocates say theres been a sharp rise into evictions and they accuse landowners of pushing them into an elevated market. Reporter tennants tell us that they are often put in a tough situation if they complain about anything to their land lords, they could be and sometimes are evicted. San jose is under tremendous pressure to do something about no cause evictions, and theyre getting support from. Tennants and their supporters met in front of city hall to protest what they call unjustified evictions. Alma rosa was evicted over her apartments condition. We had mold a lot and we could smell it and it was making us sick and it had a lot of roaches and the place was not cleaned proper at all.
