Upon approval from the Board of Trustees, Franco-Watkins will join UK on July 1, 2022. Franco-Watkins currently serves as interim dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University.
After an extensive national search, the University of Kentucky will bring multiple finalists for a new dean of the College of Arts and Sciences to the campus for forums and meetings. The third candidate will participate in an open forum noon Tuesday, May 3.
The second A&S dean candidate will participate in an open forum noon Thursday, April 28. Members of the UK community are encouraged to attend and to provide feedback.
