Police are still in a standoff situation with the suspect, accused of shooting two Fremont Police officers yesterday afternoon. As weve been telling you, about 30 minutes ago that home with a suspect is holdup is now on fire. You can see that in the distance. A developing situation here. A swat team hired tear gas and flash bangs is hope of getting the suspect out. We have Live Team Coverage this morning. We begin with a developing story of the manhunt for a suspect accused of shooting two Fremont Police officers. Authorities have the suspect cornered in a home, not far from the two shootings. The incident began around 130 yesterday afternoon with a traffic stop in the area of fremont boulevard and washington boulevard. There was an exchange of gunfire. One officer was shot. Police then chased down the suspect, moments later this led to a second officer being shot. Swat teams have been going door todoor in the neighborhood. They were looking for the suspect at that point. At approximately 11 30 pm, please tracked into a home, reportedly a home of opportunity. He got inside one of the homes in the neighborhood.
