(Shutterstock) HOBOKEN, NJ Five men in their twenties from Hoboken and Jersey City were arrested Wednesday for assault after a fight drew a crowd in the area of the Hoboken Housing Authority buildings. Police say that around 12:46 p.m., they were dispatched to the area of Third and Harrison streets on a report of a group of men fighting in the street. It was also reported that one of the males involved was seen with a handgun, although police did not find one.

Hudson Reporter Hoboken police arrest Jersey City man for alleged terroristic threats in Church Square Park × Hoboken police officers arrested a Jersey City man after he allegedly brandished a knife at another person in Church Square Park. According to the HPD, on  March 16,  at 1:52 p.m., Sergeant William Bullock and Officers Jason Montalvo and Roberto Cuevas were dispatched to Church Square Park at 400 Garden St. on a report of a man who had allegedly threatened another man with a knife. The complainant, from Union City,  met with officers and explained that he was with his wife in the park when he stopped to use the park’s restroom.
