HONIARA, Solomon Islands (Solomon Star, June 7) – Solomon Islands Minister for Health Benjamin Una has denied involvement two shooting incidents that targeted RAMSI [Regional Assistance Mission Solomon Islands] personnel last year – including the killing of Australian officer Adam Dunning.
Una reacted to a police investigation that links him to the two two shootings, saying he sees the matter as a personal attack on his integrity as a leader.
Una’s partner was questioned by police on the whereabouts of the minister on the days prior to the shooting of late Adam Dunning at Green Valley in December last year and the shooting of RAMSI vehicle at Lungga bridge.
