Pa. township supervisor cited over fight after crash

HOMETOWN Two men, one of whom serves as a Rush Township supervisor, were cited for summary offenses by Schuylkill County detectives as the result of an altercation following a noninjury accident on Feb. 13 in the 300 block of Hauto Highway, Route 54.
Based on information received from Rush Township police, detectives said that Supervisor Robert J. Leibensperger Jr. was cited for harassment after witnesses reported he punched Jonathan T. Murry one time in the head.
Murry was cited for disorderly conduct for allegedly using vulgar and profane language toward Leibensperger, detectives said.
