WARREN A Niles man pleaded guilty to charges of felony aggravated vehicular assault and driving under the influence linked to a traffic crash that injured a Vermont sheriff deputy and her police dog in Howland last April.
Gregory A. Miller, 60, of Gypsy Lane, Niles, appeared with his attorney Robert I. Shaker during a plea hearing Tuesday before Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Andrew D. Logan. Logan will sentence Miller after he undergoes a background investigation.
Miller remained free after posting a $7,500 bond. Prosecutors said some jail time will be sought for Miller, but the judge has the final decision. He could face up to two years incarceration, with a maximum 18-month prison term. Logan said Miller faces a mandatory three-day jail term for the OVI conviction.
