another update we have is that a total of 35 people were injured today. of course we have the one fatality that occurred in this particular ramming incident. this is something, to put it in context, like you say, that has been building for quite a while. there was a protest here on july 8th involving the kkk at that same park having to do with the possible removal of robert e. lee park. it used to be called robert e. lee park. there was clashes during that rally and this rally came up and police told us on friday they were going to prepare and take lessoned learned from the rally on july 8th and apply them to this one. what we saw were police in a parking lot across from the street in the park. they did not get involved initially when the clashes broke out between the unite the right rally and the counter-protesters, eventually they did clear out the park. everybody sort of disbursed. at that point, the
