EDISON – A drive-thru job fair for Middlesex County residents is coming to the township on Thursday.
The Middlesex County Office of Career Opportunity, in conjunction with the Edison Housing Authority (EHA) and the Township of Edison, are hosting the job fair at Robert E. Holmes Gardens, 14 Rev. Samuel Carpenter Blvd., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“After several years of hosting this job fair for our Edison Housing Authority families, we are now able to serve as a host site for all of Middlesex County during this challenging pandemic,” Deborah Hurley, executive director of EHA, said in a statement.
More than 50 employers, including FedEx, Hackensack Meridian Health and Home Depot, will be participating in this safe and socially distanced event. Job seekers can pull up in their car to receive packets of information about available career opportunities, occupational training and other career services.
