Robert (Rob) C. Honnold, age 50, passed away at his home on Saturday 02/20/21.
He was born on December 23, 1970 in Crosby, to Manzo Liberty Honnold, Jr. and Laura Carolyne (Barker) Halonen. He graduated from Brainerd High School in 1989. He was a long-time employee of Home Depot (20 years) and was affectionately known as “The Mustache Guy” with a handlebar mustache that Doc Holiday would have been proud of. He enjoyed his job and was very proud to be a Home Depot employee. He also proudly served his country in Afghanistan right along-side his brothers in arms of the 309th Engineer Company from 2010 to 2011. He was kind and fun loving, caring, willing to help anyone who needed it at the drop of a hat. He touched so many lives and we are all better people for knowing him.
