Patrícia passou um mês em coma na Unidade de Tratamento Intensivo (UTI), sendo 26 desses dias intubada. Ela passou por sete infecções e foi necessário tomar quatro bolsas de sangue. Além disso, ela precisou fazer hemodiálise e teve várias escaras espalhadas pelo corpo em decorrência do longo tempo de internação.
A primeira vez que a mãe conseguiu ver o filho pessoalmente foi no último dia 29 de junho, data em que recebeu alta do HGCC. Antes, ela só tinha visto Heitor por meio de chamadas de vídeo.
Foi uma alegria enorme saber que ele estava vivo, que eu ia voltar para a minha família. Deus me deu uma segunda chance para eu viver ao lado do meu filho, do meu esposo, da minha família e dos meus amigos. A sensação é de que o coração sai do peito, uma alegria enorme. OLYPHANT, Pa. If you took a trip through Olyphant Tuesday, you might not have known that we were technically still in the midst of a nor easter.
The borough DPW crews have been going pretty much non-stop. We re tired. We ve been putting the long shifts in. You know, eight hours on Sunday, 17 hours last night, and now we ve been out since 6 this morning, said DPW employee Stephen Krisler.
The plow drivers hard work was mostly done by noon. Residents were just getting started.
