Five-Star Cornerback Names Top Four
Denver Harris, a 5-star cornerback out of Houston, Texas, released his final four schools via Twitter Sunday, including Alabama, Texas, LSU and Texas A&M. Harris, ranked second in the state of Texas, could be Bama s first 5-star commitment for the 2022 class.
The 2022 product is the sixth-ranked player in the nation and third-ranked cornerback, according to 247Sports Composite Ranking. Harris, a 6 1 180lb defensive back, was named to the Texas All-State team for his junior season and was also a member of the 2020 Junior All-American team, named by MaxPreps.
Gabe Brooks of 247Sports gave an evaluation of Harris, mentioning his elite potential at his size, along with ability to play a physical brand of coverage. Alabama Gets Commitment 2022 4 Star Tight End Elijah Brown
Alabama has landed its third commitment in the class of 2022. 4-star tight end Elijah Brown from Wayne High School in Dayton, Ohio announced on Twitter this morning his intentions to come to Tuscaloosa.
Brown is the 11th ranked prospect in the state of Ohio, the 13th ranked tight end in the country, and the 277th ranked prospect overall.

He joins pass rusher Walter Bob from Lafayette, LA, and linebacker Robert Woodyard from Mobile, AL as the first three commitments of the class of 2022.
Brown has a large and ideal frame for the tight end position, standing at 6-foot-5 weighing 230 pounds. He held offers from many schools including Auburn, LSU, USC, Wisconsin, and Virginia Tech.

2022 Louisiana DL Commits to the Crimson Tide
The second commitment of Alabama football’s 2022 class is on board.
2022 defensive end Walter Bob out of Acadiana High School in Lafayette, LA committed to the Crimson Tide earlier this Monday. The 6-foot-4, 230 pound prospect chose Alabama over schools like Louisiana-Lafayette and Tulane. Bob currently doesn’t have a star ranking for the 2022 class according to 247Sports.
“First off, I would like to thank my coaching staff at AHS, my family, my friends and anyone who supported me,” Bob said in a statement released via twitter. “My hard work and dedication got me to this point, and I’m proud to say I will be committing to the University of Alabama! Roll Tide!”
