State Rep. Ryan Mackenzie plans to celebrate Mother’s Day as he has for many years – bringing a card and flowers to his mom and sharing a meal with her.
Only this year, another Republican state representative will be joining him at the table. It’s the same legislator he car pools with to the Capitol and the one he sits beside on the House of Representatives floor. And it’s someone he regards as a lifelong friend.
