Car in st. Petersburg as well as one other suspect. Terry okita reports that they are looking at the possibility that this was a terrorist attack. Reporter videos of mangled metro cars and victims laying on a st. Petersburg subway platform were posted on facebook. Smoke filled the corridors as passengers ran to safety. Authorities evacuated several subway stations before shutting the metro system down completely. Dozens of emergency workers treated victims at the scene and rushed others to the hospital. Russian president Vladimir Putin was in st. Petersburg. Russias second largest city on monday with a meeting. He expressed condolences to the victims. Reporter Police Say Steve Stephens committed suicide Tuesday Morning after Pennsylvania State Police Received a tip spotting his vehicle in a mcdonalds parking lot in erie county 100 miles from cleveland. Those officers responded, the vehicle fled from the area. There was a short pursuit in which the vehicle was stopped. As the officers approached that vehicle, Steve Stephens took his own life. Reporter authorities launched a manhunt for stephens after he recorded himself killing 74yearold robert godwin, senior, in cleveland on sunday. Godwin, a father of 10, was apparently a stranger, picked at random. Stephens then posted the violent video to facebook. Were grateful that this has ended. We would have preferred that it not ended this way. Reporter the 37yearold stephens had been a teen mentor in cleveland but on social media said he had gambling debts and trouble with his girlfriend. On facebook, he claimed to have killed 13 other people. But police have no evid
