JoAnn Carisch Strand passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 27, 2023 at Emerald Crest in Victoria, MN. JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl Carisch, brothers Jack and James Carisch, and former husband Robert Pemble. She is survived by her children; Steve Pemble (Marilyn), Bill Pemble (Valerie-deceased), Lisa Dibble (Jerry), Serene Bachman (Larry-deceased), Yolanda Strand (Unni), Rob Strand (Michele). Brother, Robert Carisch. Eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and former husband Robert Strand Sr. JoAnn was born on May 20th, 1937 in Bemidji, MN where she lived most of her life. JoAnn enjoyed spending time with lifelong friends and family. Her love language was food. She was known for her famous ribs, meatballs, fudge and a multitude of cakes and bars.
