The Utah Department Of Transportation released a statement on Thursday, detailing the top road projects on its agenda out until 2022.
According to the release, the agency will work on 185 projects across the state at a total cost of $3.45 billion. UDOT said as construction ramps up, it’s doing everything it can to minimize the inconvenience to the public. However, UDOT’s Region 2 director Robert Steward said there will inevitably be impacts, restrictions and delays.
UDOT says its most impactful projects will be three Bangerter interchanges in Salt Lake, Summit and Tooele counties, renewment of parts of I-180 and I-215 in Salt Lake County and replacements from State Route 428 to the U.S. 40 interchange.
