Malone completes fundraising for Pioneer Park

CANTON Malone University officials this week announced work on its Pioneer Park Competition Field will begin in early spring.
Pioneer Park will be a multipurpose, synthetic athletic field located adjacent to Route 62 on the Malone campus.
Officials say the facility should be available to students when they return in August 2021 for the start of the 2021 fall semester.
In a news release, officials said the lighted field will serve as the game and practice facility for Pioneer men’s and women’s soccer teams and enable the university to launch men’s and women’s intercollegiate lacrosse. Additionally, Pioneer Park provides modern and attractive outdoor spaces for recreation, intramurals, club sports and free play.
