Today. Once this heavy area moves through later this evening, well be just tapering off to regular showers, going to be windy, its going to be cold. Youll need the umbrellas, but its not going to be as bad as it has been. This is really rough. This area in yellow, most of the state of delaware, its over two inches of rain in some parts of the area, look at that, six inches of rain detected by radar, much less towards wilmington and much less towards south jersey. Right now theres some on the heavy side near the pennsylvania turnpike heading to the north and theres a lot more along the way. You see this band offshore. Thats moving up and is likely to come through during the night. In some places weve had an awful lot of rain. This is in suffolk county, delaware. Farther to the north, get, another couple of inches in some areas. Look at this. Bayville, 3. 6 inches of rain. Get the rain on top of the coastal flooding and it makes it worse. Plus the wind.
