Belmont elections board preps for primary | News, Sports, Jobs

There will be one contested race between Democratic candidates for council in the 4th Ward of Martins Ferry between incumbent Rick Rodgers and challenger Pamela Shrodes. The board confirmed six poll workers Wednesday. Two people voted early so far, and eight requested a mail-in ballot. The certification will be held at the next regular meeting at 4 p.m. May 17.
