BELLEVILLE A Canadian transport company s tractor-trailer driver is accused of negligently changing lanes and causing a collision on Interstate 255.
Douglas Tanksley filed a complaint March 24 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Karanveer Chawla and Ameri-Can Systems, alleging negligence.
Tanksley claims in his suit that Chawla was operating an Ameri-Can Systems tractor trailer on Interstate 255 in St. Clair County on Nov. 13, 2019, when he struck Tanksley s vehicle while changing lanes.
Tanksley alleges the collision caused him to suffer injuries to his head and brain that resulted in headaches and dizziness. He also claims he suffered injuries to his neck, back, ligaments, hands, wrist, chest, shoulders, ankles and knees.
