plead not guilty this morning to the sex assault charges against him. dominique strauss-kahn is accused of assaulting and trying to rape a maid at a manhattan hotel. strauss-kahn has been under house arrest since his release last month on $6 million bond. it includes 24-hour monitors and armed guards. if he s convicted he faces up to 25 years behind bars. former nfl star plaxico burress is a free man today. the former nfl new york giants wide receiver was released from prison in upstate new york today. burress was jailed after accidentally shooting himself in the thigh with an unlicensed handgun he took into a manhattan nightclub. before that incident burress was at the top of his game. he made the game-winning catch earlier that year in super bowl xlii. he plans to play in the nfl again. a woman is dead and two others seriously injured after a stabbing in fairfax county. this happened early this morning in an apartment complex along braddock springs road in centreville.
