cars as severe weather hits midwest. good morning i am sherrie johnson in for mega and charley. let s start with lynette charles. lots going on. you have tornadoes and fog in our area. exactly. we have a moist monday out there. patchy fog is what we are talking about and rain moving toward the southeast. let s talk about the visibility issues that we have this morning. so we have about 5 mile visibility in baltimore more in easton frederick and 6 in york pennsylvania. heading out and about, make sure to have the low beams on. we look at maryland s most powerful radar as of now, and we are see we are dry for most part. but as we look towards the west, that s where we are looking at showers and thunderstorms into west virginia at this time. we are going to be dealing and monitoring the situation that s happening into the southern plains because once again they will have a severe weather outbreak that coming up but right now let s get over to angela with a check of the traffic

good evening, and we begin here on a sunday night with yet another weather warning for millions of americans. dangerous and potentially deadly weather is on the move right now. tornado watches are up tonight in two states. that number expected to grow, and now the system is moving from west to east gathering new strength. you can see right there in the circle where the weather is most severe right now, and tonight tornado watches just going up in texas and oklahoma. you can see the counties in red. we re getting our first pictures out of arizona. look at this. heavy snow around flagstaff. a main highway, interstate 17, shut down by the blinding storm. and so let s bring in meteorologist ginger zee tonight who has been tracking the system all weekend long. you say we could be in for 24 hours now of dangerous storms. it has started and we are in the heart of it. the next 24 hours will be rocky. here s where we have to watch for. wichita south tonight to del rio, also a little

western maryland, that s where you are seeing the bulk of the rain pushing into cumberland let s check the traffic with angela because i know you have accidents out there and a lot of foggy conditions as well. reporter: that s right. we are still seeing a lot of fog out there on the traffic cameras. and as far as accidents go, southbound 795 approaching franklin boulevard, on the scene still maryland state police are there. they have moved the accident over to the shoulder but of course we are seeing brief delays behind that accident. and in the meantime, let s get a look at the conditions out there. the southeast side of 695 at the bw parkway no delays to report on this stretch of the beltway. a relatively nice ride as you make your drive onto the bw parkway. northbound a little heavy approaching the city. in the meantime, this is the west side of the beltway heading out to 695, not too bad yet. outer loop lanes slow through pikesville and parkville and through catonsville
